Participate in the Retrospective Natural History Study at Washington University

Help us learn more about Mitchell Syndrome.

Mitchell Syndrome was only recently identified in 2017. Since then, and as of December of 2023, we have identified a total of 25 cases around the world—adults and children, living and deceased.

Our understanding of Mitchell Syndrome is thus in its early stages. If you or your child has Mitchell Syndrome, you can help us build our knowledge base so that we can understand what this rare and deadly neurological illness is, and how it might be treated and cured. Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri are conducting this study, and would be happy and eager to hear from you. See the flyer below, and if you’re interested, email mitchellsyndromestudy@wustl.edu.
